Top scorer Jonny Edwards has put pen-to-paper for Ives, having scored 23 goals in 2022/23.

The 26-year-old moved to Westwood Road in July 2022 from then-Southern Division One Central side FC Romania.

He had joined FC in August 2021 from Southern Premier Central side Royston Town.

He had moved to Vanarama National League South outfit Maidstone United in June 2019 from former National League rivals FC Halifax Town and then joined Biggleswade Town in January 2020 and then Royston in July 2020.

He has joined the Shaymen from Hull City in the summer of 2018.

Luton-born, he started his career with Stevenage before signing his first professional contract with Peterborough United.

He had loan spells with Bishop’s Stortford, Biggleswade Town, Ilkeston Town and St Albans City before joining Dunstable Town in 2016.

Hull gave him a one-year contract following a successful trail with their under-21 squad and he had loan spells with Accrington Stanley and Woking during his time at the KC Stadium.

Also committing to the Saints for 2023/24 is last season’s player of the year, Jordan Williams.

The 25-year-old central defender was initially in the youth system at Birmingham City before becoming a scholar at Cambridge United where he spent three years.

At the start of the 2016/17 season, he was loaned out to Cambridge City and this arrangement was later extended.

A string of fine performances led to him winning the players' player of the year award at the end of the season.

In the summer of 2017, he signed for National League North outfit Brackley Town, but with opportunities limited, he linked up again with Cambridge City in December 2017.

He joined Stratford Town in August 2018 after impressing in pre-season and he enjoyed an excellent season with the Warwickshire club, subsequently being named the managers` payer of the year.

He switched to Southern Premier Division Central rivals Stourbridge in June 2019 and then returned to Stratford a year later.
