The good news is that goalkeeper Josh Mollinson has committed to the Canaries for 2023/24.
The 23-year-old is an extremely able deputy to Hitchin’s highly rated number one, Charlie Horlock, having originally come through the Canaries` youth team, where he enjoyed a successful FA Youth Cup campaign back in 2017/18.
He was loaned to Spartan South Midlands League side Crawley Green in 2018/19 and spent most of the 2019/20 season on loan at another SSML side, Biggleswade United, and Southern Division One Central outfit Barton Rovers, where he returned to, also on loan in October 2022.
The bad news for manager Mark Burke is the loss of striker Steve Cawley to Isthmian League Premier Division side Margate.
The 31-year old had moved to the Canaries in the summer of 2020 from Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.
He had signed for the Tudors in May 2018 from then-league rivals Concord Rangers.
He has a wealth of experience and made 225 appearances for the Beachboys and netted 88 goals.
He signed for Concord back in September 2013 from Bishop`s Stortford and was previously with Potters Bar Town, Hoddesdon Town and Chesham United before joining the Blues in 2012.
