Jack Holmes has become the latest to commit himself to the Yeltz for the 2023/24 season.
The 21-year-old returned to Halesowen last season after being released by Vanarama National League North side Hereford, where he had been since September 2022.
He had re-joined Halesowen on a permanent basis in September 2020 and became an instant favourite with supporters after he joined the Yeltz on loan from League One side Burton Albion and he featured in the latter stages of the run to the FA Trophy semi-finals in 2019/20.
He originally joined the Yeltz in January 2020 on an initial month`s loan after impressing manager Paul Smith when the Brewers visited The Grove in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
He has now has completed 74 appearances so far, scoring 10 goals.
Smith told his club’s website: ''We all know how good Jack can be.
''I’m looking to build a young exciting group of players for this coming season, and that doesn't get much more exciting than Jack.''
However, Smith has confirmed the departure of two players from The Grove.
Josh Quaynor and Tom Turton have both decided to seek pastures new.
Quaynor made 41 appearances last season, while Turton completed 31 games, scoring 3 goals.
On their departure, Smith commented: ''Two fantastic servants, who both played crucial parts in our promotion''.
