The 18-year-old, who was voted the 2022/23 young player of the season by fans and team-mates alike, has become an integral part of the senior side following his graduation from the club’s under-18 side.
This new deal demonstrates Lashenko’s commitment to nurturing young talent and securing their long-term presence in the squad.
Lucas’ outstanding performances throughout the season didn’t go unnoticed, having excelled in a number of different positions when called upon. The talented youngster showcased his skills, vision and composure on the pitch, earning praise from his team-mates and the Farmy Army alike.
Lashenko told his club’s website: “Last season was Harry’s breakthrough to the First-Team, and in the end he played over 20 matches across the Southern League and cup competitions. The air he exudes on the pitch is one of class and quality, and he plays with a maturity far beyond his years. Plans are already being put into place about how he will be utilised next season, and there is a position in our strongest eleven if he continues to work hard for it”.
