Greens Pin Down Midfielder for New Campaign

Attacking midfielder Billy Gillett has confirmed his commitment to stay with Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Kidlington for the 2023/24 season.

The 26-year-old joined the Greens in January 2020 from league rivals and neighbours North Leigh.

He had moved to the Millers in the summer of 2019 following a fine 2018/19 season with Hellenic Premier Division side Ardley United.

He is a tricky winger with an eye for goal whose previous club was Vanarama National League South outfit Oxford City.

Gillett told his club’s website: “I’m happy to be resigning at Kidlington this season, I have had a lot of injuries and I’m hoping with a good pre-season I can get back to doing what I do best and believe Massy will bring that out of me”.
