Defenders Mat Mackenzie, Dwayne Duncan and Dan Carr, midfielder Abdul Osman and wide player Tom McElroy have all committed to the Geordies.

Mackenzie, 20, signed for Hanwell in July 2022 having impressed against them in the Isthmian South Central for South Park.

He had joined Park in February from Combined Counties League side Redhill.

Duncan, 29, was a 2018/19 signing for the Geordies from Harpenden Town after a scoring 14 goals in 2017/18 from centre-back.

He also numbers Potters Bar Town and Chesham United amongst his other former clubs.

Carr is a 23-year-old who was a scholar at Oxford United where he spent four seasons.

An exceptionally quick full back who is not slow to join in attacking moves, He had originally signed for Hanwell at the start of the 2020/21 season from then-Isthmian South Central rivals Bracknell Town for whom he scored 12 goals in his final season there.

He re-joined Bracknell in June 2022, then transferred to league rivals Metropolitan Police two months later and then re-joined Hanwell in October 2022.

Osman is an experienced 36-year-old midfielder who was signed by the Geordies in February.

He had joined Isthmian South East side Sittingbourne in July 2022 from the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals, where he had been since August 2021.

He started his career with Vanarama National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough having represented Watford and Maidenhead United as a youngster.

He moved `north of the border` in 2007 to sign for Gretna in the Premier League, before the Anvil's administration saw him become a free agent.

A fruitful three-season spell with Northampton Town followed, where he notably netted the winning penalty at the Kop end to help the Cobblers knock Liverpool out of the League Cup in September 2010.

He then headed across Europe in 2011, signing for Kerkyra in the Greek Superleague where he spent a season before returning to the UK with Crewe Alexandra where he was a mainstay of the side in League One.

The well-travelled midfielder was back up north to join Partick Thistle - then of the Scottish Premiership - where he served as club captain for much of his four years at the Firhill side.

After his departure from the Jags, he had another spell in Greece with Lamia before returning to play for Falkirk, Queen of the South and then National League South side Dartford.

He returned to Scotland in January 2021 with Brechin City, where he made 8 appearances before football was halted due to the pandemic.

McElroy is a 23-year-old wide player who also signed for Hanwell in February from Southern Division One Central side Aylesbury United, who he joined in July 2022.

He completed a Masters` degree in investment and finance at the University of Nottingham and has played for Northern Premier League Division One Midlands outfit Shepshed Dynamo, as well as the University of Leicester as well as for Spartan South Midlands League sides Buckingham Athletic and neighbours Aylesbury Vale Dynamos.
