Both Sam McClelland and Louie Collier have made the switch from Heath’s former club, AFC Dunstable.
The 24-year-old McClelland was ever-present last season for the OD’s and also chipped in with 14 goals from centre-back.
He returned to AFC Dunstable in August 2020 having originally been a massive success at youth level with the club and was captain of the under-18 side.
Spells with Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division sides Crawley Green and Dunstable Town since then saw him develop.
Collier also joins from AFC Dunstable where he was top scorer last season with 18 goals.
It’s actually a welcome back to Broadwater for the 22-year-old, who was on loan to Berkhamsted during the 2018/19 season, and also made a couple of appearances for Spartan South Midlands League Division Two side Berkhamsted Raiders.
The midfielder was promoted to Kings Langley`s first team squad in March 2018, making an immediate impact and keeping his place for the final eight matches of the 2017/18 season.
He had loan a spell with Tring Athletic as well as Berkhamsted in early 2019/20.
He moved to then-Spartan South Midlands League side Leighton Town in 2019 and also signed dual terms with Vanarama National League South outfit Hemel Hempstead Town in November 2020.
He was signed by Steve Heath for the OD’s in the summer of 2022.
Heath has also obtained commitment from Tom Silford and Connor Toomey for their new Step 3 adventure.
Silford made 37 appearances last season, and is well-known to the new manager having played for him previously at AFC Dunstable.
The 28-year-old left back re-joined Berkhamsted in June 2022 from the OD’s, where he had returned to from then-Spartan South Midlands Premier Division side Leighton Town.
He started out with the OD’s before embarking on his travels to Bedford FC, London Colney, Welwyn Garden City, Leverstock Green, Crawley Green and Berkhamsted, for whom he made 4 appearances in 2019/19.
He re-joined Leighton in 2018 before moving back to Creasey Park for a fourth time.
Last season’s vice-captain Connor Toomey has also re-signed.
The 27-year-old defender or midfielder re-joined the Comrades in early March 2020 having made the reverse journey to Hayes & Yeading United in March 2019.
He originally moved to Hayes & Yeading in November 2016 from then fellow Southern Premier side Kings Langley for whom he had made in excess of 125 appearances.
He started out in the Kings youth ranks before moving to Berkhamsted, playing a handful of games in 2011/12 before returning to Kings Langley the following season.
He started 21 games for Hayes & Yeading in 2016/17 but departed before the end of the season to take a break from the game.
He returned to playing at the start of the 2018/19 campaign with Chesham United before switching to Berkhamsted again in October 2018.
