The centre-back has become a key fixture in the heart of the Magpies defence since joining the club permanently in 2021 and now enters a third full season at The Avenue Stadium.
The 27-year-old came to Dorchester initially on loan from Hayes & Yeading United.
He had been in the AFC Bournemouth set-up for many years and had spells out on loan to clubs such as Aldershot Town and Eastbourne Borough.
He joined National League South side Weymouth in the summer of 2017 after being released by the Cherries. He spent time on loan with Southern Premier Division South outfit Hayes & Yeading from the Terras in early 2019/20 before making the move a more permanent one just before Christmas 2019.
Dorchester manager Glenn Howes told his club’s website: "After protracted discussions it gives us great pleasure in announcing the signature of the skipper Callum Buckley and I’m sure our supporters will agree this is worth the wait."
"There is a good reason Callum has been ever present since we came to this football club and we’re so pleased our association will continue."
"I know he’s highly motivated to break 100 plus appearances for the club and this experience Callum has gained, along with the leadership qualities he possesses, are going to be absolutely vital for this young team and the campaign ahead".
