Hayes & Yeading have welcomed Omar Rowe back to the SKYex Community Stadium after a season away.

Skilful and direct, Rowe brings a tenacious bite to the midfield, both providing and scoring regularly.

The 28-year-old returns from league rivals Chesham United.

He had moved to the Generals in December 2022 from Vanarama National League South side Farnborough, who he had left Hayes & Yeading for in May 2022 after they had won promotion at his former club’s expense.

He had been with Hayes & Yeading since late August 2019.

He was playing in Cyprus for Ayai Napa, Enosis Neon Paralimni and Ethnikos Latsion.

He started his career in the West Ham United and Southampton academies before being signed by the Saints on professional terms in 2013.

He featured once in the first team at St Mary`s in the Capital One Cup against Barnsley in August 2013.

After his release by Southampton, he had a brief spell with Essex Senior League side Tower Hamlets before joining then-National League South outfit Bishop`s Stortford in October 2015.

He left the Blues in January 2016 and finished the campaign with Woodford Town and back at Tower Hamlets before going to Cyprus in 2016.

Committing to next season is centre-back Tarik Moore-Azille.

After joining late last season from league rivals Hendon, Moore-Azille made the centre-back spot his own.

As well as Hendon, the 27-year-old has also seen service with the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals, Arsenal, Coventry City, Peterborough United and also with Dover Athletic.

He had a spell with Swedish second division side Ange IF before playing for Maldon & Tiptree and also Thurrock in the Isthmian League.

He signed for Bishop’s Stortford at the start of the 2016/17 season before joining Margate.

He signed for St Albans City during the 2017/18 season but was released by the Saints at the end of August 2018 and went on to have spells with Hungerford Town, Oxford City and Braintree Town.

Goalkeeper Jack Smith holds the club record for clean sheets and he has put pen-to-paper to remain with Hayes & Yeading.

The experienced custodian joined the club in the summer of 2017 from Dunstable Town.

He started out in the youth set-up at Watford before moving to Swindon Town and then Hemel Hempstead Town, making his first-team debut while still playing for the Tudors at under-18 level.

While with the Tudors he made a handful of appearances for Dunstable and after leaving Hemel he signed for London Colney.

This was followed by spells with Ware, Berkhamsted and London Colney again before settling at Dunstable in 2016/17

Defensive midfielder Sanmi Odelusi will be also be wearing Hayes & Yeading colours again next season.

He joined in February 2020 from Romford.

He started his career in the youth ranks at Queens Park Rangers, Reading and finally Bolton Wanderers for whom he signed professional terms, going on to make 6 league appearances for the Trotters while also having loan spells with MK Dons and Coventry City.

In 2015 he signed for Wigan and then had further loan spells with Rochdale and Blackpool before moving on to play for Colchester United and Cheltenham Town.

In the summer of 2019 he joined National League side FC Halifax Town and on leaving them he moved to South Shields in October 2019.

After initially `retiring` at the end of December 2019 to concentrate on coaching, he returned to playing with Romford before moving to United a short time later to continue his playing career where he impressed in his few appearances before both campaigns were curtailed.

Commanding centre-back Jerry Wiltshire, who joined at the beginning of last season, has also penned a new deal.

The 27-year-old, a current British Virgin Islands international, originally joined the club from defunct Walton Casuals in August 2022.

He spent most of his playing career in the United States having crossed the pond to study in Tennessee.

Born in North London, he was on the books of Championship side Queens Park Rangers as a teenager.

He went on to play for Bethel Wildcats, Memphis City, Chattanooga, Peachtree City, West Florida Argonauts, Des Moines Menace and then, in the summer of 2020, Maidenhead United.

He has 7 international caps to date, scoring on his debut for the British Virgin Islands against Turks & Caicos in the CONCACAF Nations League in March 2019.

Young midfielder Jamie Hanlon has also agreed to remain at the SKYex for 2023/24.

The 19-year-old will look to build on an injury ravaged season.

On Tottenham Hotspur’s books as a youngster, he made his Hayes & Yeading debut in January 2020 and at that point became the youngest ever player to make a first team appearance for the club.
