Jack Berman has made the switch from the Waders` new league rivals Kings Langley, who were relegated from the Premier Division Central at the end of last season.
The 19-year-old had been with Kings since October 2022 and made 23 appearances.
He made the step up from League Two Stevenage’s under-18 squad in early 2020, providing cover from the bench.
He had loan spells with Biggleswade FC and also with Kings Langley in 2021/22.
Meanwhile, popular forward Harry Draper has committed to the club for 2023/24.
Draper has recently re-located but has signed for the Waders and will play as often as possible through the season.
The 6`4” striker joined the Waders in July 2022.
He had been on Stevenage’s books since before he was 8 and signed his first professional deal in the summer of 2019.
It came after a season in which the lad had been out on `work experience` with several lower league clubs.
The first of those clubs were Southern Premier Division Central neighbours Hitchin Town on a season-long loan.
He also spent six months on loan with Hitchin’s league rivals Royston Town in 2021/22.
In his time at Boro’ and in the youth setup, he was part of a successful side that did well in the FA Youth Cup and was actually the first Stevenage-born academy product to progress right through the system.
