Ethan Hanson
Centre-back Ethan Patterson has re-joined the club after finishing last season with Hednesford Town.
The 22-year-old had moved to the Pitmen in February 2023 from Uhlsport Hellenic League side Worcester Raiders.
He originally joined Alvechurch in July 2021.
He regularly captained Aston Villa’s under-18s side but failed to impress enough to earn a permanent deal.
After being released by Villa at the end of the 2018/19 season, the defender attracted interest from clubs in the Championship and League One. However, when nothing came of that interest, he headed off to Iceland to in the top division for a Throttur Vogum side managed by former Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic star Herman Hreidarsson.
His contract in Iceland ended in January 2021 but due to the pandemic, he was unable to get back into the game here until being handed a chance by Church.
Another centre-back, Ethan Hanson, has also made the step up from Midland League Premier Division side Stourport Swifts.
The talented youngster is highly rated.
