Beaconsfield Go For Hippolyte

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Beaconsfield Town have announced the signing of forward Jonathan Hippolyte for the coming 2023/24 season.

The 28-year-old started out at Maidenhead United under his father Johnson.

He had a loan spell with Aylesbury FC whilst on the Magpies` books and also on dual terms with Hendon before leaving for spells with North Greenford United, Chesham United, Egham Town, Staines Town and Leatherhead, joining Metropolitan Police in September 2018 and helping them to the Southern Premier South play-off final.

He joined Isthmian South Central club Chertsey Town in August 2019 and then onto league rivals Bracknell Town in late October 2020.

He returned to the Met in October 2021 and in July 2022 he moved back to Chertsey and then onto Hanworth Villa in September 2022.

Rams` joint boss Jon Underwood said: "He is another really positive character and will bring pace and energy to our forward line".
