Lucas Kirkpatrick
Lucas Kirkpatrick, an experienced midfielder, joins Rovers having finished the 2022/23 season with Bedford Town.
The 28-year-old had re-joined Bedford in March 2023 from AFC Dunstable.
He had moved to the OD’s in June 2022 from league rivals Berkhamsted, who he had signed for Berko in September 2020 from Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town.
He had signed for the Iron in October 2019 from Isthmian North side Cambridge City.
He had only signed for City from Bedford in June 2019, having moved to the Eagles from Biggleswade Town in September 2018 and made 19 appearances in all competitions, scoring 4 goals.
He was previously with Hitchin Town, where he spent almost five years and made over 200 appearances and has also worn the colours of Kempston Rovers and Langford.
Also moving back to Sharpenhoe Road for a second spell is attacker Taylor Rhiney, who scored an incredible 46 goals in 46 games for Biggleswade United in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
The 28-year-old had returned to AFC Dunstable in February 2023 from Biggleswade United, for whom he had scored 35 goals in 28 appearances in 2022/23 after arriving from Crawley Green.
He had originally signed for the OD’s in 2019 after spending the 2018/19 season at Bedford Town, Biggleswade United and Hertford Town.
He has also been with Stotfold, Letchworth Garden City, Langford, Barton Rovers and Arlesey Town.
