New Keeper for Geordies

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Hanwell Town have signed goalkeeper George Legg.

The 27-year-old came through Reading`s academy and regularly featured on the bench for the Championship side. He also enjoyed first team experience in the Vanarama National League in loan spells with Barnet, Aldershot Town, Braintree Town and Boreham Wood.

He had already made over 100 appearances in non-League football as he has also featured on loan for Holyport, Hendon, Dunstable Town, Chesham United, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Gosport Borough and Hungerford Town during the teenage stages of his career.

He joined Thatcham Town in September 2020 after the 6`5” keeper had taken a break from football for a season.
