Now McCafferty Joins Rovers

Barton Rovers, who have been exceedingly busy this close season, have added another new player to their squad ahead of the 2023/24 Pitching In Southern League Division One Central campaign.

Pat McCafferty has joined the squad at Sharpenhoe Road.

The 25-year-old is an excellent ball playing midfielder who brings seven years of Southern League experience to the side

He spent all of his youth playing days with Luton Town but was released as a 16-year-old.

Their loss was Biggleswade FC’s gain though, making around 200 appearances for the club and playing a major part in the 2018/19 `treble` season.

He made 34 appearances for the Greens last season, scoring one goal.
