New Defender Checks Into Lye Meadow

Alvechurch have announced the signing of defender Nathan Kelly from new Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central rivals Halesowen Town for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

The 27-year-old had been with the Yeltz since December 2021 after arriving from United Counties League Premier Division South side Coventry United.

He came through Birmingham City`s ranks to under-23 level before being released at the end of the 2014/15 season.

Whilst at St Andrews, he had a three-month loan spell with then-Vanarama National League North side Kidderminster Harriers.

In the summer of 2015, he signed for National League side Solihull Moors, where he was also loaned out to Leamington and Redditch United.

He left Moors in March 2017 for Sutton Coldfield Town and spells with Leicester Road, Nuneaton Borough and Worcester City before he signed for Coventry United.
