Two More Commit to Hammers

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Hamworthy United have announced that two more of last season’s squad had penned new deals for 2023/24.

Max Wilcock

Max Wilcock

The versatile Max Wilcock enjoyed a good season at the County Ground last season, making a total of 39 appearances and becoming second top goalscorer for the 2022/23 season.

The former Christchurch man is now entering his third year as a Hammer and the club are excited to see what he can achieve this season.

Another player that had committed for the upcoming season is midfielder Eddie Hodge.

The tricky winger, who came through the Hammers` own ranks, had a very successful end to the 2022/23 season, popping up with plenty of goal contributions, including a brilliant performance in the play-off semi-final at the end of last season.

Hodge is now entering his seventh season as a Hammer and his highlights include his fantastic winner in the FA Vase against Glebe.
