Moving to Liberty Way is French full back Victor Nirennold.
The 32-year-old joins having been with Vanarama National League North side Gloucester City since February 2023.
The well-travelled defender started out with FC Miami City in the USA.
From there he signed for Fleetwood Town in August 2015 and made 43 League appearances.
His next move was to then-National League North outfit Guiseley AFC in February 2018 on loan until the end of that season.
Slovakian side FK Senica was his next port of call in the summer of 2018 until February 2019 when he moved to Vietnamese outfit SHB Da Nang FC.
In January 2020, he was on his travels again, this time to Malaysian side UiTM FC.
He spent two years in Malaysia before returning to Britain and joining Scottish Premiership side Motherwell in January 2022.
Ginnelly told his club’s website: "Victor's a 31-year-old defender with bags of experience. He's a very good defender, who can play anywhere across the back line, mainly on the right side. Victor's a good tackler and loves to get forward to link up with the wide lads. One of his attributes is that he's tidy on the ball.
“Victor's a great character to have around the place, so I'm sure you supporters will love this one!"
Nuneaton have also signed Bermudian international Kacy Milan Butterfield.
The highly-rated 25-year-old midfielder progressed from then-National League North side Kidderminster Harriers` under-23s to the first team.
Following his release from Walsall at the end of the 2017/18 season, where he had previously spent loan spells with Leamington and Rushall Olympic, he linked up with Harriers just ahead of the 2018/19 season and signed a professional contract until the end of the 2019/20 season.
At the end of that deal, he moved to National League side Chesterfield before switching to National League North outfit Alfreton Town in September 2021.
Ginnelly said: “Kacy Milan Butterfield is 6`4” tall and very tidy in the air. He’s technically good on the ball and very tenacious in the tackle. Kacy has already played alongside our very own Ozzie Osbourne whilst they were at Walsall together. Josh Ginnelly, who played in the same Walsall team, gives him a glowing reference, so that’ll do for me!
“He’s a Bermudian international player. In fact, he’s out there playing for his country as we speak!”
Striker Connor Tomlinson has also joined Boro from relegated Bedford Town.
The 22-year-old had been with the Eagles since the summer of 2019 following his release from Luton Town.
He is a lively performer who has extreme talent.
He is the son of former Eagles` boss and Manchester United forward Graeme Tomlinson and whilst at Kenilworth Road, he became the youngest player to make a first team appearance for Luton at 15 years and 199 days old.
Ginnelly said: “The hard part is finding that striker who will make the fans happy and in this one I think we’ll all be happy with! He’s been catching my eye for a long time now and, when we played them in the two league games, he played very well. That was my cue to say try and get him to join us here at Nuneaton Borough.
“Connor’s tidy on the ball, links everybody together with his passing, and most importantly, knows where the back of the net is.”
Competition for the number one shirt hots up with the re-signing of goalkeeper Zach Hedge.
The young keeper originally signed last season on `work experience` from League Two side Walsall.
He was part of the Boro under-21 team who won the Coventry Telegraph Cup at the end of last season.
Ginnelly said: "The management are happy to get 18-year-old Zach Hedge to sign for Nuneaton. He’s a very talented young, up-and-coming local goalkeeper, who’s got a bright future ahead of himself.
“He’s been at Walsall for years in their academy and he’s now stepping in to men's football.
“Zach's very vocal and a great shot stopper. He’ll be under the watchful eye of our new goalkeeper coach, Darren Acton, so he’s in good hands! Zach's another one I’ll be looking to put out on loan to get minutes.”
Meanwhile, striker Luke Benbow has agreed to stay at the Boro for another season.
A product of the Glenn Hoddle Academy, Benbow had spells with Solihull Moors, Hednesford Town, Redditch United and Stourbridge before signing for the Boro in June 2019.
Ginnelly said: "We all know how lethal Ian Benbow is in the box. So it's great news that he’ll be in our forward line again. When we had Luke in for the end of season chat, he pretty much agreed he wants to lead the line again for the boys. Luke knows it’s all about keeping him fit. He’s been very unlucky with injuries over the past few seasons but fingers crossed this is his big season to score over 20 goals."
Ginnelly also announced that midfielder Bilal Yafai is now fully fit and has re-signed for the Boro.
After signing from Tamworth in January 2022, he made his debut against Rushall Olympic. However, during the match, he injured his ACL in his knee and was out of action for nearly a full 12 months.
Now that he is fully fit again, Ginnelly is keen to give him another chance, saying: "Bilal’s agreed to sign for us again, which Andy and I are really really pleased about. He’s got so much skill on the ball and loves to open them doors of the opposition back fours - links everything up so easy and has got the golden eye for a goal.
“Bilal’s been doing his rehab and he looks in amazing shape. I’ll be asking you supporters to support me when I do a race night for Bilal because he forked out £9,000 himself to have the knee operation.
“After spending time in Egypt, he's now back in England fit and as fit as a fiddle playing loads of 6-a-side football."
And Boro have announced that under-18 graduate Dan Edmonds has been retained for the upcoming season.
The life-long Boro fan fulfilled his dream of playing for Nuneaton's first team, when he made his debut last season against Aston Villa in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
Ginnelly said: "The management team are once again delighted that another one of our exciting young lads has put pen-to-paper. Dan Edmonds was the one who came through the ranks last season. He trained with the first team for almost half the season and was on the bench for almost 15 games. He made his big Boro debut against Aston Villa in the Birmingham Senior Cup at Liberty way in front of over 2,000 fans. Dan's learning all the time and he certainly knows where that net is. He's quick and loves to make runs in behind. Dan's another one I’ll be looking to loan out to get his minutes".
