Striker Liam Ferdinand returns to Bracknell from former league rivals Metropolitan Police, now members of the Isthmian League South Central.

The 29-year-old had only re-joined the Met in March 2023 from Chesham United, having moved to the Generals in January 2023 following a loan spell from Farnborough – he was loaned to Bracknell just before heading to The Meadow.

He had switched to Farnborough in May 2022 having missed out on promotion to the Vanarama National League South with the Hampshire outfit.

He was previously with Marlow and Binfield and represented the FA in an ambassadorial visit to the Falkland Islands in November 2018.

He made the step up to the National League South with Hungerford Town in July 2019 from Bracknell before moving to Harrow Borough in the summer of 2020.

He ended the 2018/19 season as top scorer in the division with 32 goals having re-joined the Robins in the summer of 2018 from Thatcham Town.

He helped Binfield to reach the 2020/21 FA Vase Final on dual registration before having his first spell with the Met Police in June 2021.

Also re-joining the Robins is forward Zidan Akers.

The 24-year-old signed for Bracknell’s former league rivals Hartley Wintney in the summer of 2022 from the sadly now defunct Walton Casuals.

He had joined the Stags in September 2020 from National League South side Hungerford Town having had a short spell with Bracknell in between.

He had signed for Hungerford in July 2019 having ended the 2018/19 season with Southern Division One South side Thatcham Town.

He signed for the Kingfishers from Basingstoke Town in March 2019.

He is a forward with electric pace who has previously played for Scottish side Heart of Midlothian and Reading.
