Another Couple of New Walnut Boys

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Kempston Rovers have added two more new players to their squad ahead of 2023/24.

Striker Pemi Yakubu, 22, joins the Walnut Boys having previously played for Combined Counties League side Frimley Green and Isthmian League South Central side Ashford Town (Middx) in 2022/23.

He was previously with Boreham Wood, Macclesfield Town’s under-23s and Hendon.

Kempston have also welcomed Melvin Onu to Hillgrounds.

The 22-year-old has recently featured for Yaxley, relegated from the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands, and is a central defender.

His former clubs include Crawley Green and Buckingham Athletic.
