The 20-year-old joins the Daniels from Quorn, who won promotion to the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands at the end of last season.
The Cornishman originally broke through at St Day AFC in the Kernow Stone St Piran League.
He was then accepted into Loughborough University and chalked up 52 appearances across all competitions when the students won the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championship and reached the semi-final of the Izusu FA Vase in 2021/22.
In doing so he became the youngest regularly playing member of the already youthful students' side, who play in the United Counties League Premier Division North.
Whiting returned a clean sheet haul of 25 - also saving 7 penalties across the year and picked up four man of the match awards.
He was then snapped up by Quorn last summer.
