No Less Than Thirteen Re-Sign for Chesham

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Chesham United have welcomed back no less than thirteen of last season’s squad that reached the play-offs for the 2023/24 campaign.

A centre-half pairing of last season’s players` player of the season Eoin Casey and club captain Steve Brown are back for their sixth seasons at The Meadow, with the versatile Lewis Rolfe joining them as part of a strong backline.

Left-back Jack Connors is another of the defence who is returning for the 2023/24 season looking to add to his 30 appearances in a Generals` shirt.

The midfield sees the retention of the box-to-box player Jordan Gibbons, British Virgin Islands international T’Sharne Gallimore and Ronny Mfinda, who is back for his sixth season at the club.

And at the top of the pitch, in the attacking third, Chesham have retained an array of attacking firepower with Brad Clayton, Zak Joseph and Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick all returning.

Ricardo German, Jordan Edwards and last season’s top scorer Karl Oliyide all return as well, looking to add to their double figure goal returns from last season.

Leaving The Meadow are Jeanmal Prosper to Vanarama National League South side Slough Town, Sam Beasant to league rivals Beaconsfield Town and Frankie Sutherland, who has retired.
