Two Earn Halesowen Deals

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Halesowen Town have announced the signing of Ryan Boothe and Owen Woodhouse.

Striker Ryan Boothe has signed for the Yeltz from Northern Premier League Division One Midlands newcomers Anstey Nomads.

Born in Birmingham, he has been playing football since the age of 5.

Now residing in Walsall, Boothe has played for several non-League sides including local team Rushall Olympic, and came through at Sutton Coldfield Town.

He started the 2020/21 season with Lye Town of the Midlands League Premier Division, before switching to the Nomads late in September 2020.

Halesowen boss Paul Smith told his club's website: "Ryan looked very impressive for us against a strong Kidderminster side and with Richard Gregory out for at least another three weeks, it was important to bring another striker in to help Miracle Okaofor with the workload. Ryan is big and strong and fits the bill perfectly.''

Woodhouse joins the Yeltz aftee being released from Forest Green Rovers.

The defender as been on trial with the Yeltz and has now signed forms.

Woodhouse joined Forest Green in the summer of 2012 from Walsall.

He began his journey in academy football with the Wolverhampton Wanderers under-11s.

'A young combative defender who has done very well in recent games.'' Smith added. ''He will add some depth to our defensive options".
