Bucks Sign Former Blues Midfielder

Kevin Wilkin, manager of Pitching In Southern League Premier Division club AFC Telford United, has strengthened his squad ahead of the 2023/24 season with the signing of midfielder Remi Walker from Championship side Birmingham City following a successful trial.

The 20-year-old was part of the team that beat Sheffield United to be crowned Under-23s Professional Development League national champions at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

At the start of that season, he was handed a first-team squad number and was named in his first matchday squad as an unused substitute in the Carabao Cup win against Colchester United in August 2021.

He is no stranger to the Premier Division Central, however, as he spent time on loan with Alvechurch in the last part of the 2022/23 campaign.
