The 20-year-old, who can play anywhere across the front line, has impressed Blues bosses enough to want to continue to develop a player who has enjoyed a good pre-season.
He joined the Blues last summer from Harleston Town.
Director of football Dave Williams told his club's website: “Jake is a young player that we are pleased to secure.
“He impressed in his first season and benefitted from a couple of loan spells.
“He is versatile and gives everything in whichever attacking position he plays, and we are delighted he has chosen to develop his game further under our stewardship”.
