After impressing in the last two friendlies defender Luke Redfern has joined the Yeltz following his release from Championship club Stoke City.
He began his career with Burton Albion under-18s and spent time on loan with Nuneaton Borough and Sutton Coldfield Town before making the switch to the Potters in the summer of 2022.
The centre-back has been a regular for the Championship side’s under-21s
Halesowen boss Paul Smith told his club’s website: ''Luke has looked very assured and has stood out in our training sessions so far.
''After his recent release from Stoke this is a fantastic platform for him to showcase his talents.''
Smith has also swooped to sign midfielder Todd Parker.
The exciting box-to-box midfielder joins the Yeltz from Northern Premier League Division One West side Hednesford Town, where he had been since May 2021 after arriving from Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 21-year-old spent ten years at Wolves, coming through the ranks of their youth and academy programme before being released at the end of the 2019/20 season.
Smith added: ''Although I’m happy with the options we have in the midfield area, it’s impossible not to be interested when a player of Todd’s ability becomes available.
“Not only available, he has shown a keenness to come to us. That speaks volumes for what we are trying to build as a club. This is a very exciting signing for us”.
