Twenty-five-year-old Morgan-Griffiths was signed by Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town by Bircham when he was in charge at the Vauxhall Ground.

He joined Hemel in July 2021 from Hartley Wintney, where he had originally been since September 2020.

He started out with Tooting & Mitcham United where he burst onto the scene at a young age, stepping up from their youth team to become a regular first team player and making 25 appearances and netting 3 goals in 2019/20.

He has also represented England at the six-a-side European Champions, held in Slovakia in 2022/23.

Director Jon Taylor and manager Lee Bircham told the club’s website: "We are delighted to have secured the services of Dominic Morgan Griffiths who has had a host of Step two clubs wanting him to sign. People will say - 'Why BTFC?', well the main reason is that it's a club which Dom says, in his own words, should be at a much higher level. With the way the club's run and of course the fantastic supporters who he remembers when he was at the club as a 17 year old. The midfielder has spent last two seasons at Hemel Hempstead Town and he was a key cog in their engine room in midfield. He is a box-to-box player who has magnificent feet. His passing surpasses the ability at our level - he is instinctive in his thought process when a pass is on he sees it very early. Both of us know Dom very well and we have explained the project ahead and we are both thrilled that he has chosen us above all the other teams who came in for him. This speaks volumes and I think our supporters and anyone from the outside knows what our intentions are... Dom's aspirations are the same."

Bedford have also signed attacker Louis Walsh from National League South side Slough Town.

The 22-year-old joined Slough in January 2023 from National League outfit Barnet.

He made the move to The Hive in February 2022 from Southend United, having joined the Shrimpers in December 2020, signing an 18-month contract.

The winger has previously played for Guiseley AFC before earning moves to Barnsley and Nottingham Forest but departed the City Ground club in the summer of 2020.

Southend moved quickly to fight off interest of others and secure his signature on Boxing Day 2016, and he was immediately involved in the matchday squad against Colchester United.

He then made his debut a few days later against Leyton Orient before getting a more frequent involvement in the matchday squad towards the end of the campaign.

Whilst on Barnet’s books, he gained experience with loan spells with Beaconsfield Town, Banbury United, Thame United and Risborough Rangers.
