Mitchell for Melksham

Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Melksham Town have added defender Zak Mitchell to their squad ahead of the new campaign.

The 22-year-old, who is a strong centre-back, calm and good with the ball at his feet, came through Vanarama National League South side Chippenham Town’s youth ranks and signed dual registration forms with Slimbridge in the summer of 2022, having been on similar forms with then-league rivals Mangotsfield United in 2021/22.

He moved to Larkhall Athletic in October 2022, also on dual terms, before ending the 2022/23 season with North Leigh.
