With back-to-back promotions under their belt, and just over four seasons at the club, in total, Deakin, assistant manager Craig Swinscoe and coach Adam Campbell have taken charge of 109 competitive games during their tenure at the club, with 73 wins, 17 draws and 19 defeats in all competitions – boasting a 66.97%-win rate.

Chairman Nick Dargan told his club’s website: “We would like to thank Ian and his management team for their significant effort and commitment over the last four years and we wish them every success in the future.

"In footballing terms, their achievements have been second to none at this level.”

Dargan confirmed that head of football Paul Holland will take control in the short term and will
lead the team in their first game away against Leamington on Saturday.
