Former QPR Winger Signs for Swans

Walton & Hersham have announced the signing of Stan Flaherty following his release by Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The 21-year-old winger worked his way through the youth ranks at Arsenal, featuring for the club’s under-18 side during the 2018/19 campaign.

After a brief spell at West Ham United he went on trial at Newcastle United and signed for the Magpies in January 2020.

In the Premier League 2 Division 2, Flaherty scored 7 goals and assisted 5 in 24 outings.

In February 2022 he returned to London and signed for Queens Park Rangers, initially linking up with the under-23 side.

He also had a loan spell with the Swans new league rivals Hayes & Yeading United from November 2022 until February 2023.
