Gosport Borrow Pompey Keeper

Goalkeeper Toby Steward has joined Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Gosport Borough on loan from League One neighbours Portsmouth until the New Year.

The 18-year-old will link up with Pompey team-mate Harvey Laidlaw, who has already made a temporary switch to Privett Park.

Steward penned his first professional deal in February 2022 and has been on the bench for first team matches, as well as having a stint with Isthmian League Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town last season.

Meanwhile, winger Billie Busari has left Gosport and joined Vanarama National League South outfit Havant & Waterlooville.

The 22-year-old former Fulham and Reading academy graduate signed for Boro in October 2021.
