Alex Harris

Alex Harris

Local boy and former skipper of the youth team, Alex Harris, has re-joined his home-town club after three years in the USA, where he studied and played college football in both Iowa and West Virginia.

Upon his return earlier this year, he re-joined his former manager Nick Ironton at Walthamstow, but had an injury-hit second half to last season’s campaign and now fully fit, has returned to his first club for the new season.

He is joined at the Pexhurst Stadium by central defender Sam Tring, who has also recovered from injury during a successful pre-season trial with the Citizens.

Tring, formerly played under manager Marc Weatherstone at his former club Wingate & Finchley and has also seen service with both Kings Langley and Northwood.
