Spalding Adds Two to `Marine Group

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Swindon Supermarine have signed left-sided defender Harry Fox on `work experience` from League Two neighbours Swindon Town.

The 18-year-old spent time at neighbours Highworth Town last season where he made 21 appearances.

Fox started his career with Swindon’s academy and made his first-team debut during an EFL Trophy tie in November 2021 against Colchester United.

Manager Lee Spalding has also announced the signing of striker Ben Whitehead, who played for Division One South outfit Evesham United last season after returning from a serious knee injury he suffered when playing for Weston-super-Mare eighteen months earlier.

He previously played at Cirencester Town where he made 76 appearances and scored 85 goals over two seasons with the Centurions which led to his move to Weston.

His other clubs also include a season in 2012 with `Marine.
