Bromsgrove Add Two More to Squad

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Bromsgrove Sporting, who have made a decent start to the 2023/23 season, added a couple of players to their squad ahead of Saturday’s emphatic 4-0 victory at Royston Town.

Forward Ade Francis from Rushall Olympic, where he had been since October 2022 and helped them to win promotion to the Vanarama National League North via the Premier Division Central play-offs last season.

The 20-year-old originally came through League Two Walsall’s academy and was a regular with the Saddlers` under-18s before being released at the end of the 2020/21 season.

He moved to Gibraltar outfit Europa Point in August 2021 and then returned to England to join Rushall in October 2022, although he signed dual forms with Hellenic League Division One side FC Stratford.

The Rouslers have also confirmed the signing of midfielder or forward Goodluck Eke from United Counties League Premier Division South side Daventry Town.

Eke has been on trial with Sporting during pre-season and has now finalised his move to become a Rousler.
