Kellan Hickinson

Flood, who is 21, is a midfielder who joins Ives from Division One Central side Welwyn Garden City.

He had joined the Citizens in September 2022 from Isthmian League outfit Brightlingsea Regent.

He had moved to Regent in February 2022 from Hashtag United.

Originally on the books at Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic as a youngster, he was previously with Bowers & Pitsea and Barnet.

Hickinson is a 19-year-old attacking midfielder who will be familiar to Ives supporters having spent part of last season on loan from Peterborough United at the Quattro tech Westwood Road.

Having spent his development years working his way up through the Posh academy and eventually representing the club at under-18 and under-23 level, he was released at the end of last season and St Ives boss Ricky Marheineke moved swiftly to pick him up to increase his midfield options.
