The 28-year-old made 47 appearances and scored 4 goals for the Ravens after joining last summer from the Daniels when they were members of the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands.
He had originally been with Stamford since the close season of 2019.
He previously played for Leicester Nirvana, Aylestone Park, Ellistown, Ibstock Welfare, Anstey Nomads and Gresley FC, where he scored 8 goals in 28 games.
Despite the club triggering a clause in Chitiza's contract for another year, he made it clear that he saw his future elsewhere.
The player has been recovering from an ankle injury whilst negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing and an acceptable bid was agreed last week.
