Humphries Does a `U` Turn

Attacking midfielder Owen Humphries, who originally signed for Frome Town in June 2022 from Pitching In Southern League Division One South rivals Larkhall Athletic, has returned to Badger's Hill.

The 20-year-old made 41 appearances for Frome in 2022/23,scoring one goal and making 13 assists.

He first caught the eye since his Southern League debut with Mangotsfield United due to his speed with the ball and creativity which saw a move to Larkhall in the 2021/22 season.

He has since had trials at a number of Football League clubs.

Last month, Humphries revealed that he had been offered the opportunity to go to the United States on a scholarship scheme.

However, a few days ago he announced that he wouldn’t be going Stateside after all.
