Swift Move for Chambers

Attacking midfielder Karnell Chambers has joined Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club North Leigh after spending just a couple of months with Premier Division South Side Hungerford Town.

He had been announced as a Crusader in June.

The 25-year-old started his career with Cheltenham Town and signed for Gloucester City in 2016/17 amidst interest from Scottish side Ross County, before impressing on loan at Cinderford Town.

After a spell in Sweden, he returned to the Tigers and made a real impact before signing a contract with the club for the new season.

He joined Southern Premier Division Central side Stratford Town in March 2020 and then Southern Premier Division South outfit Yate Town in June 2021 before moving to Southern Division One South side Evesham United towards the end of August 2021.

He re-joined Stratford in November 2021 and then returned to Cinderford in December 2021 before moving again, this time to Southern Premier Division South side Merthyr Town in January 2022.

He returned to Evesham in October 2022 and then re-joined Stratford in early January 2023.
