It was always going to be tough for the Derbyshire outfit having made a change of management just days ahead of the new 2023/24 campaign.

But new boss Brad Munn has brought in two new players to attempt to find a first point.

He has signed forward Zayn Hakeem on a three-month loan from Northern Premier League Premier Division side Basford United.

The 24-year-old Leicester lad was a professional with Nottingham Forest, Mansfield Town and Cambridge United.

He had a spell with Coalville Town and Bradford Park Avenue before joining Barwell in October 2019 and then Coleshill Town in January 2020.

He turned out for Anstey Nomads in 2020/21 and then joined Worksop Town in the summer of 2021 and then to Stamford in October 2021.

In July 2022 he moved to Shepshed Dynamo and then signed for Basford in May 2023.

The forward played and scored for Antigua & Barbuda under-20s.

Defender Callum Cocks moves to Grange Park on a permanent basis from former NPL Division One Midlands rivals Loughborough Dynamo.

The 28-year-old had been with Dynamo since August 2022.

He is a member of the Army Reserve Forces and represents the Army Reserve and Royal Artillery football teams.

Nottingham-born, he previously featured for Bemerton Heath Harlequins when stationed in the area.
