Unfinished Business As Simpson Makes Frome Town Return

Striker returns to former club

Frome Town have added extra firepower to their ranks with the signing of striker, Kane Simpson from Corsham Town of the Hellenic League Premier Division.

Simpson originally joined the club in 2018 before re-joining during 2019 and scoring 31 goals in 78 outings across three seasons.

He then moved to Tiverton Town in the summer of 2022 before most recently turning out for Corsham.

“I am so pleased to be back at the club,” he told the Frome Town Official Website. “After coming so close to promotion in my last season here, I feel that I have some unfinished business.

“When I made the decision to leave 12 months ago, it was purely for footballing reasons and the opportunity to step up a level with Tiverton.

“Things didn’t quite go to plan and now feels like the right time to return and help Frome challenge this season.”
