Poole Town secured their third win of the season on Saturday courtesy of a 4-2 success at Harrow Borough.
“It was a positive result at a place where we’ve tended to struggle over the past few seasons,” admitted skipper, Jamie Whisken. “Three points on the road is always a positive result, but we’re still not up to where we want to be with our performances.
“There’s a lot of work still to be done, but if we continue to improve game-by-game, we will be okay.
“We’re having no problems scoring goals at the moment, it’s at the other end where we need to be tighter.
“Clean sheets win Leagues and that’s what we’re looking at.”
The Dolphins host Dorchester Town on Monday afternoon.
