Ware provided the perfect response to defeat in their previous game by going to neighbours, Hertford Town, and winning 2-0 on Monday.
Having succumbed to a 3-1 home reverse at the hands of North Leigh on Saturday, they managed to pick themselves up to secure a good three points two days later in front of a bumper crowd of 959.
“We had a few good chances in the first half and then getting a goal just before the break gave us momentum to take into the second half,” striker, Joe Dearman told #90minuteslive. “We were able to add a second and also keep a clean sheet, so it was a good performance all-round and something to build on.
“Our fans were brilliant; they made themselves heard and the performance was for them.
“They helped us dig deep when we came under pressure and it was nice to be able to send them home happy at the end.
“We’ll take this performance into Saturday now when we turn our attention to the FA Cup at home to Dereham Town.”
