Yate Town have added to their attacking options with the signing of Joe O’Loughlin from Frome Town.
The 23 year-old appeared over 100 times for his former club, helping them to runners-up spot in this League in 2019/2020.
He cut his footballing teeth at Exeter City and has also turned out for Tiverton Town.
“We are really pleased to get Joe to the football club,” said Yate manager, John Rendell. “He has an excellent pedigree, plenty of experience and is a good age.
“Joe will strengthen the group and we look forward to working with him. He has plans to go traveling towards the end of the year, so this is short term at the moment but we hope he will enjoy his time with us and can hit the ground running.”
O’Loughlin made his debut for the club in Monday’s 1-1 draw at Bristol Manor Farm and will be hoping to play his part as they search for their first Pitching In Southern League Division One South win of the season.
Yate face a tough Emirates FA Cup first round qualifying trip to in-form Merthyr Town on Saturday.
