Salisbury manager, Brian Dutton, has praised his side after they came through a busy schedule of six League matches unbeaten throughout the month of August.
The Whites won three and drew three, including Monday’s 1-1 draw at Winchester City where their hosts snatched a 99th minute leveller.
“We’ve got a small squad, only 16 players,” said Dutton. “There’s a few walking wounded after the demanding schedule we’ve had, but I’m pleased with the start we have made to the season overall.
“We fell a little below the standards we have set in Monday’s game; we looked a bit leggy and tired, but we can forgive the lads for that.
“To be unbeaten after the first six games is pleasing and hopefully it can continue into September.”
Dutton’s side are at home to Toolstation Western League Premier Division outfit, Bridgwater United in the Emirates FA Cup first round qualifying on Saturday.
