Halesowen Town are enjoying life back in the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central.
They are unbeaten in their opening six League games and have some mouth-watering local derbies to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
“It’s a tremendous League this year,” said manager, Paul Smith. “There are some really exciting fixtures coming up, but it’s important that we just take things one game at a time and not look too far ahead.
“There have been a lot of positives so far this season and we have to be able to take this into our next run of games.
“The group is extremely tight and professional. I’ve been saying since pre-season that the lads have to stay honest and work hard and if we can do that, then we’ll be okay.”
The Yeltz renew acquaintances with Stamford on Saturday before the start of a run of local derbies that includes meetings with Stourbridge, Stratford Town, Bromsgrove Sporting and Redditch United over the course of the rest of this month.
