Halesowen Town manager, Paul Smith, found the perfect way to relax his side ahead of two big games.
The Yeltz, who are unbeaten in their six League games since returning to the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central, face another side yet to taste defeat, Stamford, on Saturday before the eagerly-anticipated local derby with second-placed Stourbridge on Tuesday.
Smith gave his players a surprise night off from training on Thursday and instead took them to the weekly Bingo Night that is held at the nearby Yeltz Bar.
“It was something a bit different,” said Smith. “The boys absolutely loved it; it strengthened the spirit even further and they also won £140 to put into their kitty, so it was a really worthwhile evening of team bonding.
“Some of the lads proved that they were naturals at bingo and I am sure they’ll be back for more!
“It’ll stand us in good stead for the battles that lie ahead, which we are really looking forward to.”
