These are heady days at Cribbs. The Bristol-based club romped to the Hellenic League Premier Division title last season, amassing 100 points to secure their place in the Southern League for the very first time.
It’s been a solid start to the campaign and recent results in the League and Emirates FA Cup, where they won at higher-level Swindon Supermarine, have cranked up their enthusiasm an extra notch or two.
“Things are going well,” manager, Richard Luffman told The Non-League Football Show. “We’ve settled well into life at Step 4 but the last few weeks have seen things really take off for us.
“Sometimes you have to pinch yourself with how well it’s going, but we are enjoying it.
“Every game in this League is a 50/50 because everyone is capable of taking points off each other, but we’ve gone quietly about our business.
“Things are progressing well for us on and off-the-field. We’ve got a great facility and a lovely pitch, whilst our fan base is growing all of the time.
“We don’t want to be here in the Southern League for just a season or two, we want to be able to establish ourselves and then challenge for a place at Step 3.
“There’s a long way to go but the journey has been enjoyable so far and long may it continue.”
