Pitching In Southern League Premier South outfit, Swindon Supermarine, have appointed Stuart Fleetwood as their new Head Coach.
He leaves his coaching role at Gloucester City to replace Lee Spalding in the hot-seat at The Webbswood Stadium.
“We have undertaken a thorough and extensive search for this position and have been overwhelmed by the quantity and quality of the applicants,” said Chairman Jez Webb. “This marks a new chapter in our history and we are excited about the future.”
Fleetwood has wasted little time in adding Shortwood United manager, Dan Gillespie, to his backroom staff as Assistant Head Coach.
Gillespie has guided Shortwood to third in the Hellenic League Division One this term with just two defeats from 14 games.
It will be a tough baptism for Fleetwood as he takes his side to AFC Totton on Saturday.
