Pitching In Southern League Premier South outfit, Sholing, have added to the engine room of their side with the signing of Charlie Davis.
The 28 year-old brings with him plenty of experience having previously served the likes of AFC Totton, Salisbury, Gosport Borough and Weymouth.
“Charlie is a great addition to our squad,” said manager, Dave Diaper. “He strengthens the midfield area with his quality and experience at this level.”
Davis revealed that it was Sholing’s Jake Adams who convinced him to make the switch to the club.
“Jake spoke very highly of the club and really sold it to me,” he admitted. “It was confirmed when I met the Gaffer and now I just can’t wait to get started.”
A trip to Beaconsfield Town awaits on Saturday as Davis hopes to make his debut for his new club who have won three of their eight League games so far.
