BRISTOL MANOR FARM | TOP OF THE CLASS

Student initiative a success

It was a ‘class’ afternoon for Bristol Manor Farm on Saturday as their Student Day promotion attracted a crowd of 362 to the NL Services Stadium.

What’s more, the sun was shining and The Farmers claimed their second victory in a row in the Pitching In Southern League Division One South courtesy of a 3-1 triumph over Malvern Town.

The club were joined by members of the University of Bristol Manor Farm Supporters Society, who all took advantage of the special Student admission offer and reduced prices on selected drinks in the Social Club.

“This initiative was great for us,” said manager, Lee Lashenko. “The crowd really got behind us and created a special atmosphere.

“Hopefully this can be a way for us to grow the club and our fan base within the local student population.

“There is a new era of supporters joining us on our journey and it gives everyone a lift. This kind of backing can only help us in our attempts to grow the club.”

Bristol Manor Farm have now moved just inside the top ten and face a trip to Wimborne Town on Saturday.
